I$0027ve had many physical therapists over the years and by far, the DPT at RISE physical therapy, Tyler, in the north park location is the BEST.
Few professionals are as personable, thoughtful, and knowledgeable as Tyler. When I bring up a new concern he is able to immediately pivot and brought several new exercises to help with my issue. He makes starting a new challenging exercise/therapy not so scary and gave me confidence in my healing journey. Also – DPT Tyler is so creative! I had sprained my ankle but needed to be a bridesmaid at a wedding wearing heels and was very concerned I would re-injure myself. Rather than simply continue with the original treatment plan, he really listened and incorporated my concern. He helped me go through a plan where I could slowly acclimate to the new footwear (once a day for 15 minutes, then 30 minutes, then 45 minutes, then an hour) until I felt I could accomplish the two-hour ceremony. Seriously, what provider gives that level of custom care??? He even makes customized videos of the exercise/therapy homework for the week. I love that he provides this as other PTs I$0027ve gone to only offer a paper handout. It can be hard to remember exactly how the exercise is supposed to look with only a paper handout so the videos are invaluable.
Now, I$0027ll get into my experience scheduling with RISE physical therapy. Let me start off by saying that I don$0027t have great/well-paying insurance. Almost every provider I have spoken with told me my insurance is terrible with awful reimbursement to the providers (LOL) but alas I am stuck with it for the time being. This has meant that almost every single medical provider I have encountered has treated me quite poorly and almost made me feel like a burden. I was honestly shocked by how well I was treated at RISE. I was treated kindly and with respect during every part of my encounter with RISE, starting with getting set up in their system and scheduling my appointments with their front desk. The front desk was prompt, quick to get back to me on any questions I had, and made getting set up in their system seamless.
My experience with RISE has been excellent and I would HIGHLY recommend them. I even tried to see if my mom could get PT from RISE but she was just a little too far and she didn$0027t want to make the drive. Thank you RISE for the wonderful service. While I am on the tail end of my healing journey, I know that if I ever need PT services again I will make a straight beeline to Tyler!
