The therapists that I worked with were great, but I had a poor experience with the place as a whole. I went for six weeks but it was hard to feel comfortable there because a lot of the staff members stood around gossiping about other clients. There was one day where I was on my own for 20 minutes with no directions while the staff member that was supposed to be helping me was helping an intern solve a math problem from their homework assignment. They are inconsistent with charging the no-show fee and staff members would joke about whether or not the receptionist would charge it for different people. Several hours before my last scheduled session, I called in completely distraught and said that I couldnt make it because my daughter had had a major medical emergency. The receptionists only response was to tell me Id have to pay the fee. It wouldnt be a big deal if that was just the policy, but the fact that on more than one occasion I heard staff members joke and bet on whether it would be charged for clients who just didnt show up without calling made the whole situation extremely hurtful.
